Start-up of the EMBA QSD™ at Scadif S.p.A in Italy

EMBA’s latest development in the RDC segment is the new EMBA QSD™ - equipped with full servo direct drive on all shafts through the entire machine. With its revolver system design, a new tool can be mounted to the second cylinder while the first tool is running, which will minimise the set-up time towards zero. The servo ULTIMA Feeder excludes the traditional in-feed roll nip due to the extended number of feed rolls, resulting in complete control without crushing the board.

The owner of Scadif Mr. Bocchi, intend to use the EMBA QSD™ for orders that earlier were produced in the flatbed die-cutter, in order to increase productivity. Also orders produced in traditional RDC machines will be runned in the QSD™ beacuse its precision and productivity benefits.
